2017 Tire Rules

No treated tires/ tire prep/soaking /solicitation of tire preps/ possession of tire preps allowed. Tire sniffing –sample testing or confiscation of tires may happen nightly or randomly at the Race Directors discretion.

UMP Late Model:

Right Front, Left Front & Left Rear Tires: Hoosier L/M 20 ONLY! — Grooving & Siping Allowed
Right Rear Tire: Hoosier L/M 40 ONLY! — Grooving & Siping Allowed
L/M 20 – Must Durometer 40 minimum before race
L/M 40 – Must Durometer 60 minimum before race
No treated tires/ tire prep/soaking /solicitation of tire preps/ possession of tire preps allowed.
Tire sniffing –sample testing or confiscation of tires will be at the Race Directors discretion.

UMP Modified:
Right Front, Left Front & Left Rear Tires: Hoosier “M30S” ONLY!
Right Rear Tire: Hoosier M30S or M60 ONLY!
No Grooving Allowed! Siping permitted on M60 when used as a right rear.
Maximum width of tire will be 9 inches.
No treated tires/ tire prep/soaking /solicitation of tire preps/ possession of tire preps allowed.
Tire sniffing –sample testing or confiscation of tires will be at the Race Directors discretion.

Bead locks on Right Side ONLY!
Wheel discs shall be fastened to the wheel using a minimum or three (3) – 5/16 inch or three (3) 1/4 inch diameter magnetic steel hex head bolts!
As an option, a wheel disc mounted with a minimum of five (5) Zeus fasteners may be used.
The use of Wheel discs with any other type of fastener will not be permitted.

UMP Pro Modified:
Hoosier E-Mod 26.5 or 27.5 “M30S, A40S, H40 & M60” Compound ONLY!
M60 and H40 may be used as a right rear option ONLY!
NO grooving any tires! Siping permitted on M60 when used as a right rear.
Maximum width of tire will be 9 inches.
E-Mod “A40S” – Must durometer 50 minimum before race
E-Mod “H40” – Must durometer 60 minimum before race

Tire sniffing –sample testing or confiscation of tires will be at the Race Directors discretion.

AARA/UMP Sportsman :
Hoosier E-Mod 26.5 or 27.5 “A40, A40S, M30S, H40 & M60” Compound
Siping & Grooving Will Be Allowed on ALL tires!
E-Mod “A40” – Must durometer 45 minimum before race
E-Mod “A40S” – Must durometer 50 minimum before race
E-Mod “H40” – Must durometer 60 minimum before race
No treated tires/ tire prep/soaking /solicitation of tire preps/ possession of tire preps allowed.
Tire sniffing –sample testing or confiscation of tires will be at the Race Directors discretion.

AARA PureStock/UMP Factory Stock:
OEM Passenger Car Tires. No Low Profile, Snow, Mud, Exotic or Trick Tires or
Hoosier E-Mod 26.5 or 27.5 “A40, A40S, H40” Compound. Wissota W35 will also be allowed but must be run on all 4 corners if used.
Siping & Grooving of all tires Will Be Allowed!
E-Mod “A” – Must durometer 45 minimum before race
E-Mod “A40S” – Must durometer 50 minimum before race
E-Mod “H” – Must durometer 60 minimum before race

Pro 4 Stock/ UMP Sport Compact:
OEM Passenger Car Tires only No Low Profile Tires
No Grooving or Siping Allowed
Must Maintain 30lbs Air Pressure Minimum At All Times!
No treated tires/ tire prep/soaking /solicitation of tire preps/ possession of tire preps allowed.
Tire sniffing –sample testing or confiscation of tires will be at the Race Directors discretion.

TIRES IN ALL CLASSES SUBJECT TO INSPECTION AT ANYTIME!
NO SOFTENING OR CHEMICAL ALTERING ALLOWED!
