The COVID-19 situation continues to evolve and we are continuing to implement precautionary and preparatory measures in accordance with guidance from government health authorities to ensure the health and safety of our fans, teams and their families. Our goal is to save all our marquee events, while trying to race as many nights as possible.   The Shamrock 40 at Belle-Clair Speedway will serve as the 2020 season opener on Friday, April 17th.  The event will feature UMP Kettler & Son’s Late Models, Brian Thompson Roofing Modifieds, Pro-Mods, Belleville Automotive Pure Stocks, Pro 4 and BOSS 600cc Outlaw Micros. (October 9, 2019) – With a significant forecast of impending rain set to hit the area, track and series officials have made the call to switch the POWRi National Midgets and POWRi Outlaw Micros “Charlene Meents Memorial” at Belle-Clair Speedway from the originally scheduled Friday date and pushed it back to now race on Sunday evening. “We’ve been watching the weather all week and with as much rain as we have coming, this feels like the best decision for us,” said Kenny Brown. “  The season is almost over and the championship battles are on the line, we want to give everybody a fair shot at their titles and wins.   Belleville, IL – The National Weather Service in Saint Louis has issued an Excessive Heat Watch, which is in effect from Wednesday afternoon through early Saturday evening.  Heat index values will be as high as 105 to 110.  For the safety of the fans, race teams and track employees we have decided to postpone the races on Friday, July 19th.  Unfortunately, with our curfew we are not able to start one hour later, as we cut close to the curfew on a regular-scheduled start time.  Thank you for supporting Belle-Clair Speedway and we look forward to seeing you next Friday, July 26th.
